Welcome, Players, to CyberCon

Benefits

  • One badge number allows you to play in any game and attend all events
  • Games with more than four players include a prize for the best player
  • Pre-registering enters you in a raffle for additional prizes
  • Weekend pass includes FREE access to WebRPG for the duration of the Con
  • Participate in our CyberCon RPGA D&D Tournament
  • Participate in our CyberCon CCG Tournaments

Rules

Failure to follow the rules will result in your badge being revolked. If that happens, you will be unable to attend any future events.

  • You must show respect to the GM and Con Staff at all times. Loud, obnoxious or vulgar behaviour will not be tolerated.

  • You must be on time and ready to play. GM's do not have to wait for you to start (and are advised not to).

  • Sharing your badge number with someone else will result in its immediate deactivation. Please, play fair.

Cost

$6.95 for the weekend covers entry, doorprize, all events and games, interviews, workshops, auctions, contests, art galleries and all other activities presented at Cybercon. Over half the visitors during last con went home with a prize!

NOTE: You do not have to pay right away to register, we will send you an email reminder before the con starts.

Group rates are available for 5 or more players. Email cybercon@rpghost.com for details.

Payment

If you don't have a credit card, we'll also accept payments via:

  • Paypal user "webmaster@rpghost.com"

  • Money Order mailed to RPGShop.com address at least 2 weeks before the convention date.

Process/Duties

  • A valid email address and real name is required; your badge number will be sent to you via email.

  • Your badge number, email address, and real name will be required at all events you attend. To prevent unauthorized use of your badge number you should be prepared to supply the GM with any of the information supplied on your registration form (except credit card info of course).

  • Event passwords and room location (URL) will be emailed to your on-file address when you are scheduled for an event.

  • It is your responsibility to own and have installed the tool used to participate in any games you register for. All our tools are free to use (although some may be trial versions).

  • If you're not scheduled for an event, you may petition the GM to allow you to play. Each GM has discretion to add additional players on the spot (especially if some do not show up) - or to refuse if that would unbalance the session. If there is no additional room and you're asked to leave, you must do so. Failure to follow the instructions of any GM may result in the revolking of your badge.

  • If a game room or server crashes, try your best to return right away. Keep trying for at least 15 minutes. Sometimes it takes a few minutes for a room to be setup again; don't start your own room - allow the GM to do that. Think of it as a restroom break :)

  • You are paying for the right to attend this online convention and to participate in events and games. We offer no warranty or guarantee that any scheduled event will take place. If a GM fails to show or technical difficulties keep a guest speaker offline, you will not be reimbursed.
