Rules
Applications must be completed (all fields filled in) and turned in two weeks prior to the start of the Con. Late apps may be accepted if positions remain open, but don't count on it.
Screening of GM apps will be based on experience, knowledge of the game system and maturity as well as your command of English (US or UK English is acceptable). All games will be run in English. Short written questions about game mechanics, player issues and past games you've GMed will be part of the application.
Players will sign up for tournament games themselves and CyberCon staff will drop in on the game to check out who's who; you will not be able to set up a "fake" game with your buddies. This is an opportunity for you to GM a new crew - while your buddies are welcome to play (and you are encouraged to invite them), you may not end up playing together. Look at this as a chance to meet new players.
You may expect to receive confirmation of your event by 1 week prior to the convention, but in most cases within a week after your application has been submitted.
Please register for the con via the standard registration form and using your correct email address. If you are applying to be a GM, you still need to pay NOW GET IN FREE to the con. Your first game fee will offset that cost.

Process/Duties
If selected to run an event, you agree:
Use of commercially available modules is acceptable; otherwise you must submit a complete summary (and any other docs) of your game to be approved for play. We do not want last minute ablib games.
You may run any game of your choice as long as it's a published, familiar rule set. Custom game sets will be accepted if there are enough players who know the game/rules to be able to make it worthwhile. If you're applying to run a custom game, please state so on your application and give us an idea of the genre, level, mechanics, etc.
Events are scheduled for four (4) hour lengths. Your game is expected to last at least three hours but not more than four. You must finish your event within the scheduled time so that your players may attend the next event they have signed up for.
You must be online and available 10 minutes before your game starts and remain throughout the game. You may not substitute a friend or other GM during a tournament.
Each game you run must have at least two players. You'll use our admin script on our server to check registration numbers and report attendence.
Only paid attendees of the con may play in your game. You will collect badge numbers and names from each player and remove those without them from the game room. Valid badge holders can be allowed to watch if you choose to allow it.
You will end your game within the specified time limit. We're not allocating any time between each event, and since the events are online there are always technical dificaulties that can arrise. Do not assume you have a little extra time.
Please report the winners within 10 minutes after the scheduled game end time using our online form. Cybercon will supply the prizes for each winner directly. You are not an agent of our convention and are not authorized to assign prizes or awards.
